This whole Tiger Woods scandal is so big its like people have never heard of it before. Famous couples beat each other and cheat on each other and lie to each other, and every time it happens its like its something new. How come they never show pictures, previous lives, and ambitions of our fallen soldiers overseas. They die for our country but we never acknowledge them and their sacrifices. They die for my freedom, for your freedom, and for everyone elses…including Tiger Woods, and his freedom to play golf and to cheat on his wife. Tell me, how good is to live in America?

- just noticed recently that I only spotted 2 black people on kcal 9 news at 10 o, clock and that there’s only been 2 black guys on the 90210 show and 2 in Twilight. I’m not sure why their doing that. Is it just to show their diverse? Becaude if their really diverse then how come there’s only 2 of them? The funniest part is whenever there’s a movie involving more than 2 black people its either ghetto, involves drugs, or funny because its stupid, or all of the above. I’m not gonna make this long but I just think that its interesting how its not a big deal whether they have asian people in a show or not but it’s a big deal when black people are involved. If black people are meant for dumb, drugged-out, funny movies then they should keep asian people in dubbed out samurai movies.

Looking at posters from Victoria’s Secret and seeing girls from the TV show 90210 makes me wonder if that’s the trend women are heading to. I’m talking about being skinny. I mean seriously have you seen the girls from that show? Someone needs to feed them 1,000 cheeseburgers! They’re like 90 pounds! I just think that it would be sad if women, especially young girls, follow that trend. It just doesn’t look good. As a guy I really don’t find it attractive. Why? Coz they look sick! You can totally see their shoulder blades and collar bones! Who wants to date a scarecrow ley alone make love to one? Personally I like a girl who looks fit or at least one that doesn’t look like she’s about to pass out due to starvation. Lingerie models are the same only they distract us (males) from focusing on how skinny they are with their boobs. Its just sad and I wish in the future women would not end up looking like walking hangers

I havent seen the movie and i honestly dont think that i would want to. Ive read articles about it and i have seen previews and from the way it looks.. i think it sucks. I mean dude c’mon! Its freaking 2012! Rumor has it that its gonna be the end of the world and theres still a story to it?! ITS THE END OF THE WORLD! Why are we focused on John Cusack and his little girl and couple other people when the crust of the earth is tipping over like ice sheets on water? Why are we looking at how they try to escape when there’s a tsunami bigger than the tallest skyscraper? I mean really.. HOW WOULD YOU BENEFIT FROM YOUR ESCAPE IF YOU HAVE LITERALLY NOWHERE TO GO? The effects are sick but i bet the story sucks

I dont remember the last time a cellphone was popular solely for the fact that it is a portable, wireless phone. Nowadays you have camera, video, music and even internet. Its like you dont need your iPod, laptop, and digital camera coz you have all of them in your phone. Now what that does provide us as consumers? Convenience? Rapid networking? Fast news delivery?

Why cant cellphone companies, instead of adding all the things that WE DONT REALLY NEED, put a sensor or a program that disables the phone and its functions while a person is driving?

DO YOU KNOW THAT DRUNK DRIVING IS JUST AS BAD AS DRIVING AND TEXTING NOWADAYS? Even with your bluetooth on, the whole “hands free” idea, youre still screwed. Being on your phone and driving are a bad combination not because of where your hands are and where they should be but because of your brain function. Studies has shown that even when people are on their bluetooth and both hands on the steering wheel, it is still a disaster waiting to happen. Its because theres a part of your brain that is meant for listening and processing information. Now although both your hands are on the wheel, the part of your brain that YOU SHOULD be using for driving is being used on a phone conversation.

ANYWAY my point is cellphone companies should come up with the technology to disable the phone while a person is driving. If we could come up with all this crazy technology, im sure we could come up with one that could help save lives

Luxury cars: How luxurious do they have to be?

Lately ive been seeing ads about new released cars that have so much technology in them thats it mind blowing. Im going to use the 2010 Mercedes Benz E-class as an example. It has Attention Assist, which detects driver drowsiness based on 70 parameters; Adaptive Main Beam Assist, which adjusts the angle of the headlight for the best possible illumination without blinding other motorists; LED daytime driving lights, which use less power and enhance aesthetics; Blind Spot Assist familiar from the S-Class; and Lane Keeping Assist, which uses vibrations in the steering wheel to inform the driver if they’re veering out of their lane. An optional Speed Limit Assist , which recognizes speed limit signs as the car passes them, then displays the relevant speed limit in the speedometer.

Isnt that rediculous!? Especially attention assist, lane keeping assist, and speed limit assist are just straight up madness! What the hell is the point of learning how to drive and learning how to be a responsible driver if you have your car to do all that work for you. I mean you gotta be a dumbass if you dont know when to drive and when not to drive when your drowsy and youre just retarded if you dont know how to stay in your lane or recognize the speed limit

Instead of all this unnecessary luxury, why cant car companies just spend their money on, for example, more airbags or even a better chasis for a stronger body. Instead of spending thousands of dollars in production for lane assist sensors, they should just improve the car’s brake systems or even its fuel efficiency. All this additional technology added to this car is just unnecessary and it defeats the purpose of being a good responsible driver.

(un)Reality Show

Let me just say this out loud just to get it out of my chest… The Hills is a dumb show with a bunch of dumb people in it! Im sorry.. i just had to do it. I dont understand the point of making such a pointless “reality” show. Tell me.. do people in LA really look like that? Do they drive luxurious cars like the ones seen on the show? Think about it.. if its a REALITY show then how come they’re never broke? How come it seems like they’re not in debt? They worry more about who’s hooking up with who than, for example, not being able to get classes in school coz our state is in deep shit or even looking for a job to pay rent or school. To me THATS REALITY! Those people are not that much older than me or people that i know but my reality and the “reality” they’re showing on The Hills are waaaaaaaay off! And this whole “Speidi” thing…. REDICULOUS! They’re screwing everyone over all for publicity! I’d rather watch a damn cooking show than The Hills

So what are we supposed to look at?

You know whats funny? I noticed that they pick attractive women to do weather forecasts and traffic reports. Example.. Jackie Johnson (KCAL9), Elita Loresca (NBC4), Vera Jimenez (CBS2), and Amelia Earhart (KCAL9). So were they hired for their knowledge and experience or is it because they’re attractive? 3 out of the 4 reporters ive mentioned have big boobs and 1 is gorgeous. If they’re there for both experience/knowledge and looks then how come the company put them in weather and traffic and not in the Top Stories section or even made them as main news anchors? If they’re meant to attract audience (mostly men) and keep them tuned in then they should be reporting about more important topics or topics most people ignore. I just thought id point that out coz i find it interesting.

A few weeks ago i went to go see the newest Twilight movie New Moon and i have to say that its better than the first one. I never wanted to see the first one before coz i figured it would be lame but i have a girlfriend.. i had to go. ANYWAY i like the story, the drama, and the “beef” between vampires and werewolves. What i dont understand is why they made the movie so short. That and im pretty sure the character of Bella did not represent an “easy” girl in the books. Overall i like the movie and im looking forward to the next one. Although i like it.. id be lying to myself if i say that i dont wanna make fun of the Twilight movie New Moon

Jersey Shore: The New Comedy Series

I guess we’ve all seen it on MTV.. eight Italians shacked up in a beach house with nothing in mind but to drink, party, and “pound it out.” Im talking about the new reality show Jersey Shore. I think the show is hilarious because its stupid. Girls who are fake baked, fake hair, fake boobs drinks and parties with guys who are fake baked, buff, and with a ton of hair gel. I think if youre a guy and you are not part of, what i call, the Buff, Bronze, and Bitchin club and you dont apply a tub of hair gel on your hair… you wouldnt be on this show. There’s really nothing much to it.. drink, get some ass, check hair, repeat. If there’s drama, its pathetic. If there’s a fight, its dumb. If ever you find a serious scene, its shallow. But i guess people watch it coz (aside from the fact that its dumb) its interesting to see how other people “party.” That and also because its funny watching people come up with weird nicknames such as “Jwow”, “Snooki”, and the best one of all “The Situation.” Its quite a show to watch and its not as dumb as Speidi and The Hills although its close. If The Hills show beautiful rich people trying to “run LA” and hook up with each other and try to be famous, the Jersey Shore just shows plain old dumb partying. Thats it!
